***Note:  Some colleges use the college application for the scholarship application also.  Therefore, it is very important to include all information and to have a well written essay.

NWTC Campus Career Day... Juniors and Seniors....KHS plans to attend the NWTC Green Bay campus on February 23. This is a good opportunity to visit the campus, see classrooms, and get some questions answered. Pick up an application in the Counseling Office to attend. Space is limited.


UW College Placement Testing.... Seniors planning to attend a UW campus should register now for the College Placement Test. Registration began on February 1. Info can be picked up in the Counseling Office.


Boys High School Track Any Boys interested in Track this Spring should sign up in the office.


Skiing Join Ski Club on a Fun Day to Powderhorn Ski Feb 25th. Sign up in the Office before Wednesday Feb 16th. All information will be in the office by Monday Feb 14th. All money should be turned in no later than Feb 17th


Attention Students Effective February 2011, you may nominate a classmate for the monthly Student Who Makes A Difference Award. Nomination forms are available in the KHS main office. Your nominations for the February award must be submitted to Ms Coshun by 3:30 PM on Friday February 18.


Contest The Student Advisory Council is sponsoring a design contest for replacing the "Welcome" sign in the KHS Commons. Your colored design must be done on a 8 x 11 sheet of paper. Contest entrants may also be required to submit an electronic copy of their designs. Your design for a new "Welcome" sign must be submitted to the KHS main office by 3:30 PM on Friday March 11. The contest winner will receive a gift certificate for KHS spiritwear.


ASVAB Exam..... Kewaunee is offering the ASVAB exam at KHS on March 9. It is open to juniors and seniors. Main reason for taking the ASVAB is admission to any of the military branches. Other reasons are good practice on test taking and gaining career information. Test is FREE. Sign up now.
