Welcome to Kewaunee Elementary School! We are so glad to have you as part of our school community. At KES, we are committed to providing meaningful and engaging learning experiences that honor each child’s unique needs, interests, and abilities—all within a safe, respectful, and caring environment.

KES is a place where a love for learning is nurtured every day. Our dedicated staff members bring compassion, creativity, and enthusiasm to their work, supporting each student not just academically, but as a whole person. We strive to help every child recognize their strengths and build confidence, knowing that every child has the potential to shine.

We deeply value the partnerships we share with our families and the greater Kewaunee community. Together, we can offer our students rich learning opportunities, helping them grow in self-awareness, develop a broader world view, and become thoughtful, kind leaders—one child at a time.

As I begin my final year as the principal of Kewaunee Elementary, I find myself reflecting with both pride and gratitude. This will mark my 28th year in the district and my 19th as an administrator. It’s been an incredible journey, and as a graduate of this very district, it has meant the world to me to give back to the community that helped shape who I am.

Our elementary team is truly like a family, and it has been an absolute honor to work alongside such a passionate staff, wonderful students, and supportive families.
