Kewaunee Elementary School

The Wisconsin Farm Bureau recently hosted their annual “Wisconsin Agricultural in the Classroom” essay contest for students in 4th and 5th grade. This year’s essay topic was, “A Wisconsin Tree and Me: How Trees Grow Food and Fiber.” Each child who participated was awarded a $5.00 Subway gift card. Lily’s essay was chosen to move to the next level of competition and she was awarded a $25.00 Subway gift card. Lily’s classroom was also awarded $25.00 to spend on classroom supplies. Great job by all of the 4th graders for writing well researched essays and good luck to Lily as her essay moves into the next level of competition.
