parade

Teachers, students, and families gathered to celebrate the end of our 4K year with a “Learning Parade!” Families worked with their child to create a costume they felt represented the letter, number, or shape their child was assigned. The day of the event, our 4K families had the opportunity to learn about the advances in how literacy is now being taught in the Kewaunee School District. Students from 3K all the way through 8thgrade came into the halls to cheer the 4K students on while they proudly shared their costumes they made with loved ones. Families were welcomed to the cafeteria to watch the parade, and then followed us out to the playground for popsicles, pictures, and the opportunity to schedule play dates to keep the fun going over summer! It was a great way to celebrate a year filled with learning and friendship!
