Hello! My name is Kirsten Benesh and I am excited to join the Kewaunee team as a special education teacher!
I grew up and still live in Algoma, so I am very familiar with the Kewaunee community. I graduated with my bachelor degree in Social Work from UW Green Bay in 2020 and went back to school and received my masters degree in special education in 2025 from Concordia University. I taught two years as a middle school special education teacher in Green Bay and will be continuing teaching here at Kewaunee for my third year.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children, baking breads, being outdoors, and gardening. I am excited to work with all the amazing staff and families this school year. Go Storm!!
