Welcome to a new school year at Kewaunee Elementary School! It is with great excitement and gratitude that I begin my 25th year serving the Kewaunee School District as the new Elementary Principal. I will also continue my work in the district as the District Special Education Director. I have had many roles over the past 24 years as a teacher and administrator. I am a graduate of Kewaunee High School and UW Oshkosh. Most recently, I completed my Master’s Degree at UW Superior. I live in Kewaunee with my husband Chet, and our three daughters. Our oldest daughter, Hannah, will be a junior at UW Oshkosh in fall. Lily will join her this year as a freshman at UWO. Ella is a senior at KHS.
I am honored to lead such an outstanding staff and to work alongside the wonderful students, families, and community members who make our school so special. At the heart of everything we do is a commitment to putting students first by supporting their academic growth, nurturing their well-being, and helping them discover their unique strengths and potential.
I believe that strong partnerships between home and school are essential to student success. By working together through open, honest, and ongoing communication, we can create the best possible learning experience for every child. Our dedicated staff takes great pride in fostering a safe and welcoming environment. We will be building a school where kindness, compassion, accountability, and respect are practiced each day. We will also work to strive to help students develop resilience—the confidence and perseverance to learn from challenges, solve problems, and continue growing. Thank you for entrusting us with your children. We look forward to a year filled with learning, laughter, meaningful connections, and shared success as we continue serving our community together.
