The District is thrilled to invite all community members to a twopart celebration on Monday, May 12, marking a major milestone in the referendum project.

 

School Additions & Renovations Groundbreaking

911 Third Street, Kewaunee, WI 54216 at 1:45 p.m.

 

This ceremony will officially launch construction at the school campus—an exciting moment, years in the making. Your presence matters. This project reflects the values, priorities, and investment of the Kewaunee community, and we hope to see Kewaunee students, families, staff, alumni, and neighbors in attendance.

 

Transportation Support Facility Open House

918 Third Street, Kewaunee, WI 54216 from 3:00–4:00 p.m.

 

Following the groundbreaking, join us for an open house at the newly completed Transportation Support Facility. Community members will have the opportunity to tour the space, learn about its role in daily operations, and see firsthand how Phase 1 of the referendum has come to life.

 

Rain Date: Tuesday, May 13 (same times) No RSVP required—everyone is encouraged to attend.

 

Superintendent Scott Fritz shared, “This work is about more than buildings; it’s about creating safe, functional spaces that support learning, improve daily operations, and serve our students and community well into the future. We are excited to invite the community to celebrate these important milestones with us.”
